Forgotten Figures: Tenzing Norgay
This project involved researching a lesser-known historical figure and designing a poster that highlights their life and contributions. An accompanying image was created based on what they were known for, using varying shades of a single color to maintain visual cohesion.

Forgotten Figures: Pierre Curie
After completing the first Forgotten Figures poster, I was inspired to expand the project by researching and designing a second poster on another lesser-known historical figure. Building on the original concept, this piece further explores visual storytelling through focused research and a cohesive color-driven design approach.

Animal Poster Card
This poster card uses bold color fields and simplified silhouettes to depict an animal in its environment. The composition emphasizes shape, contrast, and playful typography to create a visually engaging scene, while the limited detail and vibrant palette keep the focus on form and mood rather than realism.

Cultural Catalysts: Charles Martinet
Building on the Forgotten Figures concept, I decided to create a similar project featuring someone who is still alive and has made a significant contribution to pop culture. For this poster, I chose to use the same colors as the source picture to create a stronger visual connection. This poster celebrates their impact while maintaining the same research-driven and visually cohesive design approach.

Lyric Poster: Live To Win
This poster represents thematic elements drawn from song lyrics, translating the song’s themes and imagery into a cohesive visual composition. For instance, I included Paul Stanley, the singer of “Live to Win,” alongside Rocky Balboa and the exaggerated character designs from South Park’s World of Warcraft episode. The South Park characters were specifically chosen to reference the “Live to Win” gaming montage featured in the episode, visually reinforcing the song’s themes of perseverance, dedication, and obsession.
